Everything you need to know about starting your journey with Futures Church College
Lectures take place on-site every Tuesday at Paradise, but online options are available.
Core lectures occur on-site every Tuesday (4-5PM & 7-9PM) at Paradise. Additionally, two intensive,
one-week study blocks are held per year (before Semester 1 and mid-year). All core lectures are available online.
Yes, we offer several forms of support. Domestic students enrolled in the Diploma/Certificate may be eligible
for the government's FEE-HELP loan scheme. Full-time students may also be eligible for Centrelink support payments.
Costs vary depending on the level of study:
- Internship: One-time flat rate. Payment plans available. Covers mentorship, retreats, graduation, and extra ministry experiences.
- Undergraduate Certificate (4 subjects): Approx. $9,200 total ($2,300 per subject). FEE-HELP available.
- Diploma of Church Planting (8 subjects): 2026 Futures Church Scholarship Rate $9600 ($1200 per subject) ). FEE-HELP available.
Applying for a Short Course is simple, like registering for an event. For the Diploma or Internship, the process includes
a mandatory discovery interview to ensure alignment with your calling.
The course equips you for formal roles like chaplaincy and ministry, and provides enhanced leadership skills applicable to all professional industries. ACC ministers are required to have a qualification like this diploma to receive a credential.
Across the year our interns have many different experiences to help their growth and learning. This includes a retreat, leadership lunches, end of year celebration and other fun experiences. For our internship there is a $500 fee to be paid to Futures Church. There is no FEE-HELP for this payment, however we would love to have a conversation if you are unable to pay this fee upfront.
As well as our Diploma and Undergraduate Certificate we offer an Audit Stream (non-accredited) where you are able to sit in class and can submit formative assessments or choose to opt out of assessments. Our Audit Stream is $1600 ($200 per subject).
