Our Story:
The Vision Behind Futures College

Over many years, our church has seen leaders raised, released, and making an impact all over the world. Thousands have studied the Word and leadership in a formal capacity at Futures Church.

As we pioneer new territory and look toward all that God has for our church, the Holy Spirit placed a dream in our leaders’ hearts: to create a new kind of course that would prepare the next generation to take ground.

The Diploma of Church Planting and Leadership is the fulfilment of a Word placed on the hearts of our leaders from Hebrews 11:11. It’s more than a course; it’s the birth of a new season of effective, Spirit-led ministry training that we believe will shape communities, cities, and nations for years to come.

A Message from
Pastors Ashley and Jane

The Holy Spirit has given Futures Church a vision and a mission to plant 200 campuses, train up 10,000 leaders, and see 100,000 souls won to Christ.

In order for this to be achieved, we have created a ‘runway’ for future generations of believers, leaders, and campus planters to be able to be a part of planting campuses, with the knowledge gained from those that have gone before them. It is imperative that the path forward be clear, can be repeated with confidence, rapidity, and yet flexible enough to adapt to diverse cultures and circumstances.

This runway combines the blueprint that the Holy Spirit gave to us with on the ground experience garnered from planting, acquiring, and adopting campuses over the last 20 years. It answers the questions of where, who, when, and how and outlines a Biblical, Apostolic roadmap to assure that the right people are given the right training and the right resources to fulfill this commission.

Our Deep Roots and Global Reach

Over 100 years ago Smith Wigglesworth hosted a number of Revival Meetings in Australia and a group of people who were stirred by the Holy Spirit began to meet in homes across Adelaide, South Australia. From then to now we have seen Jesus build his church into what we see today - a vibrant, global church that has raised and released leaders who are making an impact all over the world.
